Venue: Green Farm, Fair Oak, ST21 6NT This is the first of two training days aimed at the newcomers to Working Trials. The idea of the first day is to touch base on all aspects of this sport with the exception of the PD specific exercises. As you can appreciate one day is not enough time to go into much detail but it should be sufficient to explain, demonstrate and show you enough to get you started. Exercises such as Heelwork, Retrieve and Recall will only be touched upon briefly whilst Nosework, Sendaway, Jumps and the importance of good Control will be given greater emphasis. This first day is mainly for the handlers, bringing your dog is optional. feel free to bring your dog but I cant guarantee that you will work it. This training day is about giving you, the handlers the necessary knowledge to understand this sport and train your dogs. The second day is where your dogs have some fun. The second training day on August 12th will be restricted to those who have attended the first day and will be for continuation and progression purposes for you and your dog.Please note that priority will be given to newcomers.
