T.D. NOSEWORK

Judge: ERIC NICHOLS

Tracklayers: Alan Bolton, Mike Cammidge, Andrea Lynd, Harry Abbott and Jacqui Gibney

Stewards: Albert Davies and Jim Gibney

Thank you A.S.P.A.D.S. for the invitation to judge the T. D. nosework and Mike and on the jumps which need to be polished up. To those who did not qualify, it is worth spending some time thinking about the way individual exercises are being taught, and considering what motivation you are giving your dog. Just because you know what you want your dog to do, it doesn't necessarily mean that he understands what you are asking. Well done to the following qualifiers:-

1st. TOVANDI'S ERKO, (GSD) dog, handled by Andy Baker. Kai was the only dog to get to the sendaway point, and on this performance looks to have a very promising future in trials. 88.5 Q CDex.

2nd. Pauline Pulman with KESYRA GYPS! (GSD) bitch. Liera's heelwork was a joy to watch, easily the best of the day. 86.5 Q CDex.

3rd. STARAZAZ LAD, (BC) dog, with his owner Rose Faulkner. Fleet is barely old enough to compete, and worked extremely well, showing a great deal of promise. 85.5 Q CDex.

4th. Mick Mendoza with his GSD dog ROTHICK GIMLET. Timber worked his usual competent round, although it was a close thing on the jumps. 82 Q CDex.
