There are plenty of people who would love to run chase helper in trials and have done so many times,the problem is we are all a lot older than we used to be,that is where the main problem lies . We all really appreciate the time you young fellas put in to help out at trials, but we cant expect you to cover the whole country or give up paying work to do so or your family time. The problem is the number of fitter younger helpers available who are coming into the sport across the country.
Hi Andy, yes think Tracy has a point about how people train the chase ,but think a lot of people just do short ones and train targeting .rather than distance.Plus you can train a chase without running like you have to as a trials helper. And the ones who want long fast chases have been known to pay for private training from people not involved in working trials,
