Trial Managers Report

Well the KCCs are over for another year - a long time in the planning and suddenly they are all over.

Many thanks to the Southwick Estate for giving us such lush grass to work on. Every competitor got round the track just square articles giving a few problems.

Many thanks to Judy and Mark for producing the catalogue and to the KC for printing them.

In the TD Stake there were 11 Qualifiers but only 10 worked as Pat Herbert had retired WTCh Glenalpine Fen who had already won 18 Tickets and in the PD Stake there were 6 Qualifiers but only 5 worked as

Jenny Richards had retired Amberslade Massachusetts.  We wish both dogs a long and happy retirement.

Many thanks to the Kennel Club who were our main sponcers as well as coming along to support us.

Also thanks to all our other sponcers as without their support, being a small society, we would have found it very difficult to run the KCCs.

My thanks to to the Judges Jill and Lauren, to the stewards June and Mick and track layers Nigel Andy Charlie and Gary M.

The track watchers Lesley Emma Pat Sue and field managers Belinda and Paul. Also to Paul for making and donating a set of jumps for the raffle.  Thanks to Pat for all her help with selling raffle tickets and all

her help before and during the trial.

Thanks to Penny for running base so efficiently and for all her help before and during the trial also thanks to assistant base Jodie who also did some escorting as well as running the quiz on Friday night. Thanks to

Arthur  who also did some escorting as well as numerous other jobs.

Special thanks to John Turtill who spent three days taking some great pictures of everyone at the trial.

Thanks to Martine who produced framed pictures of all competing dogs as well as producing some great qualifying certificates.

Claire who worked so hard in the background sorting out all your hotel bookings food orders

as well as liaising with the hotel and the estate manager.

Then we come to the catering team managed by Tim with Linda Caroline  Jo and anyone else who helped in the kitchen,

you all did a great job keeping everyone fed and watered many thanks.

Many thanks to Jo for the beautiful bouquets and table decorations at the hotel you made the room look lovely. Thanks also for the lovely cards which you sold to raise funds for Hampshire.

Thanks to Sophia and her staff at the hotel who have been very supportive over the last few months and to the North Boarhunt Parish Hall and Michael for looking after us so well at base.

What a great team we had.

On Saturday afternoon we had a visit from Peter Lewis who was the first Chairman of  Hampshire when it was born in 1973.  Peter and his wife were unfortunately unable to accept our invitation to the Saturday evening

function but it was lovely they managed to visit in the afternoon.

After the control ajility and patrol rounds on Saturday  had two worthy winners.  Many Congratulations go to TD Gary Atkins with WTCh Glenalpine Ken & PD Dave Clark with WTCh Blade Of The Glade.

It was so good to see so many at the dinner on Saturday night especially two of our farmers Andrew and Sarah who have supported Hampshire for many years.

We would like to thank Kathryn Mansfield from the Kennel Club who spoke after the dinner. Kathryn will be retiring at the end of the year and we wish her a happy retirement.

Many many thanks to everyone who helped to make the KCCs at Hampshire a success.

To all the competitors your dogs were a pleasure to watch. What a great standard of work - lets keep this standard and not try to alter excises and change a great sport
